Reiki
Reiki (pronounced “Ray-key”) means “life force energy.” It is a Japanese energy technique that addresses both chronic and acute conditions, gently and powerfully promoting balance among all the body’s systems. Reiki is simple, natural and a safe method of healing and self improvement. It also works in conjunction with all other medical and therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Reiki is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to receive its many benefits. Anyone can benefit from Reiki treatments, no matter what your age or state of health.
Reiki can produce: Deep relaxation, reduced stress and anxiety, pain relief, improved immune system, improved circulation, promote faster healing, provide a feeling of inner calm, contentment and serenity. What to expect from your Reiki Session You will lie on a massage table fully clothed; Kathi will place her hands gently on or above your body. During the treatment universal energy called (“chi” or “ki”) is drawn through her hands to you helping produce a state of balance and well being. You will feel deeply relaxed and may even fall asleep. You may also feel heat from her hands, tingling, pulsing, a feeling of floating or sinking or nothing at all. It varies from person to person. But no matter what you feel during your Reiki treatment, Reiki is working to bring you into balance and promote healing.
